About Ashley Grimes:Ashley Grimes is President of the Florida NAMI Board of Directors. She is also a State Organizer for the Florida Recovery Advocacy Project, and a member of the Project Management Institute, the Institute of Managerial Accountants, and the Society for Human Resource Management.Ashley is a native Floridian born in Daytona Beach. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Project Management from Colorado Technical University and is currently working towards an MBA. She is a Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and a Certified Recovery Peer Specialist (CRPS-A, F). She currently works as a Project Administrator for a long-standing local general contractor.Ashley lives as a person in long-term recovery. She shows that recovery is possible and that people in recovery can thrive and add tremendous value to their communities.
